Position: Elections Assistant

Location: Honolulu, HI

Pay: $17/hour

Experience: At least 6 months of customer service experience is REQUIRED.Training on specific tasks will be provided.

Education: High school diploma or GED

Type: Full-time; Temporary Contract Opportunity (October 18th - November 5th)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm (With the ability to work weekends, holidays, and OT as needed.)

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking an Elections Assistant to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Answer questions related to voting, both in person and over the phone.
• Gather voter registration applications from various public and private agencies.
• Assist with mailing out ballots and handling the return of absentee ballots.
• Handle various data entry duties.
• Assist voters with ballots and voting machines.
• Validate and audit voter applications and replacement ballot requests.
• Assist with the training and recruitment of employees.
• Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

• Fluent in Ilocano and Chinese a plus!
• Ability to type 35 wpm with accuracy and utilize MS Office.
• Comfortable working in warm conditions without air conditioning.
• Strong time management skills.
• Effectively work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs and stand for long periods of time.
