CNC Operator

Onsite in Gainesville, GA

MUST HAVE:

• Minimum 2 - 4 years of relevant experience.
• Work experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment

Responsibilities:

• Housekeeping 5S Standard
• Ensuring safety rules and policies are followed
• Ensuring First in First out
• Following Internal Quality Issues procedure IQI
• Escalation of issues to supervisor and manager
• Teamwork working in a Team to fulfill daily production goals
• Following International Automotive Task Force quality standards IATF 16949
• Production reporting
• Labelling and transporting pallets
• Quality inspection
• Performing measurements for quality control
• Performing change over on machine
• Cleaning of equipment and tools
• Ensuring proper maintenance of machines
• Performing basic troubleshooting of machines
• Performing quality check on parts. Need familiarity with callipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Adjusting machine settings
• Loading and unloading of machines
• Operating machines, CNC familiarity needed
• Other duties assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 - 4 years of relevant experience.
• Work experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment:
• Basic computer skills
• Basic knowledge of measurement devices
• Good math skills
• Basic understanding in metric system
• Basic troubleshooting skills
• Basic mechanical background
• Detail oriented
• Good organization skills
• Good ability to work in a team environment
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good reading comprehension of work instructions
• Occasional kneeling
• Frequent bending
• Constant standing, walking, handling, using fingers and reaching outward
• Pushing and pulling up to 25 lbs. using material handling equipment
• Lifting and carrying up to 45lbs.
