About the role:
Our client is seeking a full-time in-house recruiter to join our North American team. They need a candidate with full cycle recruitment experience in positions ranging from director levels to production levels. Previous experience in manufacturing, logistics or construction setting is a huge plus in this role. Positions may include (Finance staff, HR, IT, Leadership roles, Mechanics, Machinists, Welders, Warehouse staff, Engineering, Supply Chain Etc).
Responsibilities:
- Identify, sourcing and attracting candidates to open roles.
- Manages job postings internally & externally.
- Manage job requisition process in ATS.
- Develop and implement sourcing methods to expand candidate pipelines.
- Facilitate candidate experience and coordinate interviews.
- Screen resumes and job applications and provide summaries to hiring managers.
- Partner closely with hiring managers and provide consistent updates.
- Travel for job fairs and production shop walk throughs.
- Attend Job Fairs surrounding USA and Canadian locations.
- Conduct hiring practices training with leadership teams.
- Maintain high level of retention on candidates hired.
- Maintain accurate job descriptions.
- Comply with all federal and state laws and company policies regarding recruitment and selection processes.
- Position requires collaboration with all organization leadership in North America.
- Some onboarding and administrative duties
- All other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 1-3 years of experience full cycle recruitment in similar industries.
- Knowledge of legal hiring practices.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, logistics or construction setting
- Must have experience sourcing candidates in difficult to fill roles
- Must have experience proactively sourcing resumes from multiple sources
- High sense of urgency and the ability to time manage and meet deadlines.
- Previous system exposure to SAP Success Factors or other previous ATS experience
- Professional Recruiter Certification (PRC)
- Demonstrated high percentage effectiveness in filling positions in a timely manner
- Demonstrated high retention on hired candidates
- Previous experience recruiting for an international organization.
Travel Requirements:
- 30-40% of the time or higher during Job Fair season.
- Required to meet all state/local requirements to travel into various US states and Canada.
- Travel will be pre-scheduled and on a need's basis for site visits (not limited to): Montana, Minnesota, Wyoming, Montana, West Virginia, and Canada.
