(Seasonal) Building Maintenance Worker - HURON-CLINTON METROPARKS : Job Details

Work activities in this position primarily involve the maintenance of buildings and other park structures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: The list below is intended to describe the general nature of duties only. Employee shall perform other duties as assigned. Cleans and maintains all restrooms in picnic areas and other locations as assigned. Paints interior and exterior of buildings. Paints signs, benches and tables. Cleans buildings-sweeping, mopping, dusting, windows. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Ability to load, unload and move materials between work locations. Ability to traverse sandy, marshy or wooded areas with even or uneven terrain. Ability to work in all weather conditions. Ability to work varied hours depending upon park demands. Ability to get along with co-workers, supervisors, and park visitors. Will be required to work assigned Special Events, Weekends, Evenings and Holidays. Will be required to adjust schedule to meet organizational needs. Ability to perform essential duties.
