Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Data Security Infrastructure and Systems Engineer to join our People Organization, focusing on maintaining and enhancing our data security standards through robust engineering practices and solution development. The ideal candidate will collaborate with senior engineers to ideate, architect, and implement cutting-edge solutions, ensuring the protection of critical infrastructure and adherence to Global Technology standards.

What you'll do:

  • Engineering and Design Reviews: Conduct robust engineering and design reviews to reduce risks and ensure the continued operation of data security solutions.
  • Solution Development: Architect, plan, and develop data security control tools across the organization in collaboration with other lead engineers.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure adherence to Global Technology standards by collaborating with Information Security partners and addressing architectural complexities.
  • Coding and Telemetry: Create and configure code to meet business and technical requirements, implement telemetry features, and ensure security policies are applied during development.
  • Consultation and Risk Management: Serve as an engineering consultant, identifying risk improvement opportunities, prioritizing impactful engineering improvements, and guiding teams in assessing feasibility and aligning with business objectives.

  • Coding and Development: Proficiency in creating and configuring code to meet business and technical requirements, ensuring security policies are applied.
  • Risk Management: Skill in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks, and providing consultation for engineering improvements across the organization.

    The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

    Minimum Qualifications

  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, information technology, or related area and 5 years' experience in technology infrastructure engineering across areas such as compute, storage, network, mobility or virtualization-related technologies.
  • Option 2: 7 years' experience in technology infrastructure engineering across areas such as compute, storage, network, mobility or virtualization-related technologies.
  • Preferred Qualifications

    Outlined below are the optional preferred qualifications for this position. If none are listed, there are no preferred qualifications.

  • Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, information technology, or related area and 3 years of relevant experience in configuration management, developing automation for Provisioning and Orchestration, experience developing and managing service-level objectives (SLOs)/service level indicators (SLIs) for Infrastructure Service availability and performance.
  • We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
