Summary / ObjectiveThe Service Technician is responsible for working in thefield or in the service center as required, diagnosing and repairing a fullarray of consumer appliances and electronics along with periodic issues withfurniture if required.
Responsibilities- Outstanding diagnostic/problem solving skillsalong with exceptional communication and customer service skills for the properrepair of the company's 82 store chain along with all other relatedbusiness/customers.
- Prescreen, identify, analyze and repair product ensuringcustomer satisfaction
- The tech must demonstrate the ability totroubleshoot as repair challenges occur.
- The tech must repair LCD, LED, DLP, and PlasmaTV's as well as stereos and general audio equipment.
- The tech must work with the Shop Manager toensure that all warranty claims are submitted.
- The tech must have the ability to effectivelyutilize on-line resources
- The tech must maintain the company's tools andequipment.
- The tech must maintain the electronic recordsregarding service provided and discuss all areas of concern with the ShopManager.
- The tech must manage parts inventory and workingcollaboratively with management to ensure that inventory is available forrepairs.
- The tech must be able to repair HE Washers andDryers, refrigerators and gas/electric stoves.

QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of repair experience, possess allrequired certifications for warranty work, basic knowledge of MS Office andSmartphone.
Position Type /Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday throughSaturday8:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will require additional hours asneeded. The Service Technician Position is required to embrace andrepresent the Bestway's Bring It Values!
