12-Hour Machine Operator - Ahresty Wilmington : Job Details

Position Title & Reporting Relationship:Operator- reports directly to Team Coordinator or Production Shift LeaderDepartment:MachiningPosition Summary:12 hour rotating shift (AM & PM Available)Carry out needs of production by following Standard Operational Procedures for machine operations, quality inspections and packing standards.Scope of Responsibilities:Responsible for achieving daily production targets and ensure part quality meets costumer requirements.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:* Demonstrates all essential Duties & Responsibilities of New Hire* Comply with AWC Safety Policies and Procedures* Adhere to Rules of Production scheduled break and lunch times* Follow Stop Call Wait Procedure* Complete Standard Operational Procedures for lineside machine startup, within standard time* Follow one piece flow* Use two hand part handling, loading and unloading products with two hands* Independently performs Q-time Checks to standards.* Understand part flow within process and can identify abnormal process condition.* Complete AGSS process loading, tag printing, and inputs NG scrap parts into AGSS system.* Complete AGSS Tag Canceling, Load Returns, Corrective Printing, and Reprinting when actions are necessary.* Fill out Daily Production Reports & Counter Confirmation sheet. Ensure downtime issues are recorded with description and correct downtime code. Also, records reject quantity and description.* Transfer Daily Production Report information to Production Board.* Completes segregation, follows Standard Segregation Procedure when abnormal condition creates non-conforming products.* Knows safety device systems, performs equipment safety checks, and follows lock out procedure.* Maintains good housekeeping, keeps clean work area and practice basic 3s activitiesRotating 12-hour shiftsEvery other Weekend off6:45am - 7:15pm or 7:15pm - 6:45am
