Location: Vollrath Company, Kiel WisconsinShift: 1st Shift (Hours: Start- 4am to 6am, End- 2:30pm), 2nd Shift (Hours: Start- 2:30pm, End- 11 pm-1am)Pay: $26.20 to $27.04Shift Premium for 2nd Shift: +$1 per hourSign-On Bonus: 1st Shift- $2,000, 2nd Shift- $3,000Press Setup:Prepare and set up hydraulic and mechanical presses according to job specifications.Install and align dies, punches, and other tooling components.Adjust machine settings to ensure optimal operation and production quality.Conduct test runs to ensure setups are accurate and adjust as necessary.* All other duties assigned by the supervisor or lead person*Operation:Operate hydraulic and mechanical presses to perform deep drawing of metal sheets.Monitor the machine during operation to detect any issues or malfunctions.Ensure the production process is running smoothly, efficiently, and safely.Handle material feeding and removal from the machine.Quality Control:Inspect produced parts for quality, ensuring they meet specifications and tolerances.Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions.Record and report any defects or inconsistencies in the production process.Safety and Compliance:Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.Ensure that the work area is clean and organized, reducing hazards and improving efficiency.Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.Technical Skills:Knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical press operations, ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings, proficiency with measuring tools, and understanding of material properties.Attention to Detail, Problem-Solving, and Experience in the field.Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds repeatedly.Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, chemicals, and noise.
