1st Shift - Material Handler NEEDED!!!! Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in Elgin area within the manufacturing industry. We are looking for a friendly passionate person to join a great team as a Material Handler. A charismatic person who loves to be detail orientated organized, punctual, and working in an industrial environment. Material Handler 1st Shift - Material Handler Hours - 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Pay rate -$17.00ph - Occasional overtime is required Must know how to read and write Being bilingual is a must Material Handler Job Description The Material Handler performs various activities within the materials department, including packaging and movement of materials, performing inventory control activities, training to the materials team, shipping & receiving tasks, and providing backup support within the materials team. Key DeliverablesInventory:

• Ensures inventory accuracy meets management exp
• Executes picking and put-away of materials
• Executes inventory cycle counts and material reconciliations

Production:

• Ensures packaging of finished goods is completed seamlessly to sustain production runs
• Executes shipping and receiving processes
• Provides backup to Materials Lead
• Provides coverage for Material Handler

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years of experience in a Material Handler or similar role
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to read and write and communicate in English
• Basic computer literacy
• Able to learn NTI warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) and obtain required certifications

Preferred skills and knowledge:

• Prior experience with an ERP system
• Inventory management experience
• Experience within medical devices
