Beer Capitol in Sussex, WI is now hiring for a 1st Shift Warehouse Associate. The 1st Shift Warehouse Associate is primarily responsible for the re-stocking of the picking rows, unloading of trucks, and organization of back stock; all while operating in the best interest of the customer and the company. Responsibilities:

• Check in with Warehouse Supervisor/Shift Lead at the beginning and end of each work day.
• Use and maintain the Beer Capitol equipment, vehicles, and Beer Capitol building in a neat and orderly condition.
• Stock and fill various products throughout the warehouse using correct freshness dating.
• Unloads and receives trucks and puts merchandise away in appropriate locations using correct freshness dating.
• Receive and ship products, equipment, merchandise and supplies.
• Safely and quickly stack 20 to 45 pound cases on pallets up to 6 feet high occasionally.
• Loads/Unloads and Checks In/Out route delivery trucks.
• Checks and verifies all pre-billed orders for accuracy.
• Follows order checking procedure, corrects Mis-Pick Orders, and logs all mistakes on Loader Mistake Log.
• Fills out daily work log.
• Fills out and turns in breakage reports promptly to Warehouse Manager/Shift Lead and Inventory.
• Operates company equipment safely and according to company guidelines
• Adheres to supplier and company quality and freshness standards in inventory and loading practices.
• Always safeguard company property under your control by following all security procedures
• Promptly prepares all required reports.
• All other duties as assigned by the company.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday : 6am - 2pm

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to work in a fast paced, accuracy dependent environment safely.

Qualifications:

• Must possess sufficient knowledge of company products to answer routine inquiries and knowledge of supplier policies especially freshness standards and product marking identifying the same.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 45 pounds on a consistent basis and up to 175 pounds on an occasional basis
• Ability to push and pull 5 to 50 pounds frequently, this includes the ability to bend over and push.
• Ability to walk, stand, stoop, crouch, kneel, bend, twist, grasp, work at heights, reach to various levels, with adequate sense of balance while working/using company equipment or products.
• Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions: wet, dust, fumes, noisy, extreme hot or cold, and working outside in all types of Wisconsin weather.
