Position Type: High School TeachingDate Posted: 4/15/2024Location: Hunterdon Central Regional High School Description: SAT Proctors are responsible for distributing exam materials, followingexam instructions, and closely monitoring exams to ensure all protocol is followed. Proctors should be organized, comfortable speaking in front of students, and have strong attention to detail. Training will be required and may occur in person or virtually. SAT Monitors help set up the testing area and assist the proctor to monitor testing. They also make sure the areas outside the testing rooms remain quiet and secure. Requirements:
- Must be a high school graduate.
- Must bring an internet enabled device (personal or school-issued) to access digital check-in materials.
- May not be employed part or full-time at a test preparation company.
- May not participate in any coaching or teaching activity that addresses the content of secure College Board tests.
Responsibilities:
- Attend proctor training (time/date of training dependent on exam date; individual trainings can be arranged according to proctor's schedule).
- Monitor exam security.
- Proctor exams according to the official instructions including: distributing materials, reading instructions, monitoring students, collecting and counting materials, keeping exam materials secure until returning them to the staff person responsible for the exam.
- SAT exams typically start at 7am and end between 11 and 1pm, on Saturdays
Dates: Yearly Appointment (September 2024 - June 2025) SAT exams take place throughout the year. Rate: Hunterdon Central Honoraria Proctors for SAT: $60.00 Monitors for SAT and ACT: $105.00 Additional compensation is provided by College Board, per their fee schedule.
