2024 Habitat Community Outreach VISTA - La Crosse
Located along the Mississippi River, Habitat for Humanity of the Greater La Crosse Region serves La Crosse, Vernon, and Trempealeau counties in western Wisconsin, and Houston County in Minnesota. HFH La Crosse has built over 40 homes since becoming an affiliate in 1992 and continues to improve housing conditions. Their mission is to bring people together to provide and preserve affordable housing opportunities and create a community where all feel they belong. Immerse yourself in this vibrant town, home of the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, and enjoy the outdoor amenities of this region: rivers for canoeing, kayaking, and fishing. Hiking, biking, and skiing among the rolling hills of the Driftless Region, untouched by the glaciers that flattened much of the Midwest 10,000 years ago.
