Who We Are ?

Kwenda Collegiate Girls is a public, tuition-free, feminist K-8 girls school that reimagines public education with girls and gender non-conforming youth at the center.

Our school was born out of two values - love and liberation for BIPOC girl-identifying and young women (inclusive of trans and gender non-conforming youth). We believe our kids deserve safe spaces of affirmation, rigor, and healing - that raise them up to be autonomous decision-makers in their own lives.

We are a slow growth school opening our doors in Brooklyn, NY in Fall 2025 to students in kindergarten and first grade.
