The Sherwin-Williams Management & Sales Training Program is an exceptional entry-level opportunity designed to fast-track your growth into a Store Management role within 18-24 months. With our strong promote-from-within culture, you will have the chance to transition into an Assistant Store Manager position following an intensive 8-week training completion.

This role typically requires a commitment of 44 hours per week, which may include evenings and weekends. During the program, you will work closely with store management to manage a million-dollar business, contributing to leadership and strategy that drives the store's success.

Throughout the training, you will gain hands-on experience in various operations, client interactions, and internal strategies. Your efforts will focus on expanding the company's market share by engaging with large commercial clients such as painting contractors and purchasing agents who require substantial volumes of our premium products.

Essential responsibilities include:

  • Completing training as per established program guidelines.
  • Supporting business strategies aimed at boosting sales and profitability.
  • Ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
  • Building thorough knowledge of products to provide effective recommendations.
  • Establishing and nurturing positive relationships with both wholesale and retail customers.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Legally authorized to work in the country without requiring sponsorship for employment work visa status.
  • A valid, unrestricted driver's license.
  • Possession of a bachelor's degree by the program start date.
  • Ability to retrieve materials from shelves and lift/carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service.
  • At least one (1) year in leadership roles, supervising others or leading teams.
  • Experience in team-oriented settings, including work, extracurricular activities, or military service.
  • Previous experience selling paint and related products.
  • Proficiency in timekeeping or customer relationship management systems.
  • Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in more than one language, preferably Spanish.
