The 21st Century Learning Director is responsible for the operations and support of the district network and information systems. Supervises the work of district technology staff. Serves as a lead technician for evaluation of network, systems, hardware, and software upgrades. Provides guidance and direction for future growth and development of district network and information technology systems. QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent, required • Experience with K-8 classroom instruction and technology integration • Visionary with the ability to develop long-range goals for the implementation and use of technology in K-8 classrooms • At least five years of experience designing, configuring, and integrating all aspects of technology and networking environments including computer and server maintenance, networking and routing hardware, and network diagnostic and management tools • Ability to communicate effectively with persons of varying technological expertise • Ability to be on call for assistance when necessary to manage emergency technology situations • Excellent problem-solving skills involving databases, networking equipment, hardware, and software. • Competency with administrative and instructional applications of technology Attachment(s):
