Everett School District 24-25 Game Day Operations Staff

Responsibilities: As part of our game day operations staff, you are directly responsible to both the Principal and the Director of Athletics. Operations staff must realize that any activity sponsored by EHS Athletics is part of the total program offered by EHS. Individuals in charge of such activities must utilize sound educational principles and goals if athletics are to be a worthwhile part of the overall school program. Some of the duties of the game days operations staff include:
DUTIES:
* Assist with the operation of the scoreboard or shot clock.
* Maintain an orderly and safe environment for players, staff, spectators and officials.
* Assist patrons with finding seats, locating restrooms and providing guidance in an emergency.
* Assist with setting up and breaking down game day equipment and materials, as needed.
* Assist with clearing the venue of all spectators at the end of each event in an orderly fashion.
* Work with police or other first responders in the event of an emergency.
* Stay current with changing MIAA rules and regulations.
* Help with any other task that coaches, players or administrators may need assistance with.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Previous Ticket Taker experience is desirable.
2. Previous experience in either high school, college or both is desirable.
3. Knowledge of different sports and their rules and MIAA regulations governing those sports.
4. Evidence of ability to get along with pupils, parents, colleagues, and other citizens.
