2nd Shift Assembler - Aerotek : Job Details

Job Title: AssemblerJob DescriptionMake sub-assemblies consisting of printed circuit boards with applicable components. Assemble a completed electro-mechanical unit utilizing sub-assemblies, air tools, and miscellaneous parts.Major Tasks and Responsibilities:Assemble printed circuit boards by inserting applicable components in through-hole fashion utilizing specific work instructions, procedures, and various hand and air tools.Install sub-assemblies and miscellaneous hardware into specific unit enclosures at a final assembly level utilizing specific work instructions, procedures, and various hand and air tools.Perform electrical function tests at printed circuit board and final assembly levels using test fixtures provided by electrical engineering.Other duties as required (e.g., packing, etc.)Hard SkillsAbility to lift up to 26lbMinimum 4 months of production workAssembler experience is a plusWork EnvironmentThis is a very fast-paced work environment, and deadlines are crucial. Basic production work area with tight quarters. Eye protection and protective shoes must be worn.
