2nd Shift Custodial Services Worker - Virginia Tech University : Job Details

Reporting to the 2nd & 3rd Shift Facilities Operations Assistant Manager, incumbent provides custodial services to assure a clean, sanitary and safe environment in assigned facilities. Responsible for meeting high standards of custodial services in offices, meeting rooms, public areas, bathrooms and other areas within the facilities. Duties include floor maintenance, dusting, gathering and removal of trash, and snow and ice removal from entrance ways and sidewalks. Reports needed equipment and building repair and any unsafe or unusual custodial situations. Responsible for the care and handling of custodial supplies, equipment and assigned keys. Occasionally assists with the preparation of regularly scheduled events. This position is designated Emergency Personnel, and requires employees to report to work as needed during campus emergencies, holidays, closings, and per supervisors instructions.
