Over the last 85 years, Trinity Industries has grown to over 6,000 employees strong with the common purpose of Delivering Goods, For the Good of All.As a Quality Inspector at Trinity, youll make visual and measured inspection/tests of materials/ products to ensure conformance with standards and determine if product meets all requirements. Completes inspection records and reports and follows appropriate codes and regulations.What youll do:Performs inspection of tank or freight car assemblies, parts, or material the majority of the time to ensure conformance with standards and determine if product meets all requirementsPerforms a variety of standard testing processes on in-process or final products during manufacturing or inspection and records and analyzes resultsRequires knowledge of industry specific tests and testing equipmentMay use automated and manual techniques including to perform non-destructive tests to identify errors or defectsMay be responsible for testing during production and finished productsFollows all safety rules and practicesMay be involved in safety committees or CI initiativesPerforms other duties as assigned.
