2nd Shift- Inspection Operator - Shawmut : Job Details

This role is responsible for efficiently regrading fabric to produce quality rolls, to meet customer expectations, and shipping demands. In addition, the individual incorporates safety into his/her work culture, in order to secure a safer working environment overall.-Regrade fabric-Verify rolls based on Standard Operating Procedure-Remove defects from rolls while minimizing waste-Effectively label each roll with ticket-Ensure proper wrapping of each roll based on fabric style-Meet set quota for production standards-Operate equipment in a manner that equipment downtime is reduced-Perform other duties as assignedRequirementsEducation-Minimum high school graduate or equivalent.Experience-Previous manufacturing experience in a textile setting preferred.Key Skills-Effective communication skills, ability to work independently and in a group setting.-Precision skills in measurement-Reading and comprehension
