2nd Shift Machine Operator-Roll Thread - Fontana Fasteners : Job Details

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for ensuring quality standards are met for the assigned machine group. This position requires the set up, operation, and perform minor preventative maintenance on assigned machines. Continuous improvement of processes and products are an ongoing function of this position.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Follow all safety rules.

Properly use gages and other quality tools to ensure production of good parts.

Perform inspection checks to monitor the quality of all parts.

Perform the duties required to record data for SPC, ISO/QS documentation.

Maintain clean and orderly work area

Suggest process improvement ideas.

All other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

HSD/GED or equivalent experience

Basic math skills

Good mechanical aptitude

Previous machine operation a plus

Previous Roll Thread experience preferred
