While we're proud of these distinctions, one credential stands above all others: our extensive list of long-term satisfied Fortune 500 OEM customers.REPORTS TO: OPS SupervisorSUMMARY: This position prepares and delivers product for shipments to customers, and / or pulls stored or work-in-process materials for work centers and moves to production or shipping area, in conjunction with United Alloy manufacturing philosophies.Hours: Monday through Thursday; 2:30pm - 12:30am (OT as required)Shift Premium for 2nd Shift: $3.00 per hourESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :Pulls stored materials for orders and moves to production or shipping areaAble to identify materials using part numbersAccurately counts raw materialsSupplies work area with materialsPerforms kitting responsibilities as requiredDocuments information related to the material handling of goodsIssues raw material to jobs and performs location transfers in CSI accurately and timelyAccurately counts and tags material prior to material handlingOther duties as assignedEnsures clear and clean pathways to and from all outside and inside exits on the production floor daily.Follows safe manufacturing and material handling practices.QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is requiredValid driver license is required (3 years semi-infraction, not revocation)Certified fork truck driving with at least one year of experienceExperience operating LP gas driven fork trucksExperience moving at least 1,000 lbs. or more with a fork truckMust possess the ability to operate overhead cranes, bander, shrink wrapper, forklift, tape measures and calipers.Must be able to determine material types and gaugesMust possess effective written and verbal communication skillsMust perform all duties in conjunction with UA and ISO requirements.Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 100 pounds with an assist12 Expected Behaviors of Actively Engaged Person – 100% Responsible, Trustworthy, Team Player, Clear Communicator, Empathy, Humility, Emotional Self-Control, Resolves Conflict Directly, Positive Attitude, Respects Others, Problem Solver, and Agile.NOTE: Given the nature/size of our product and customer requirements, we require a stringent hiring process to ensure the highest quality product.
