**Material Specialist Warehouse Associate 2nd shift - Level 3 - Olathe, KS**

**FULL TIME and PART TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE - Medical/Dental Benefits Available 1st Day!**

**Regular starting pay upto $17.70 / hour (include shift differential)**

Hiring for 1st and 2nd shift, hours as follows:

* **Positions for 1st -- 5 am - 1:45 pm M - F or PT available.**

* **Positions for 2nd -- 3:00 pm 11:45 pm M - F**

* **Part-time positions 5 pm 9 pm, 6 pm - 10 pm, 7 pm 11 pm or like schedules available**

As a Material Specialist- you will be a key contributor to a vital part of our business - the shipping of residential locks for our home security business. Reporting into one of our Value Streams, supporting the operations for Schlage Residential, you will be responsible for the processing of customer orders for shipment.

Previous experience in a logistics environment is a plus, however, dont let this deter you from applying if your experience doesnt fit exactly. We have all the tools and resources to aid in your training and development to ensure your personal growth and success!

Hiring for 2nd shift, 40-hour, M - F modified shift:

* Monday - 3:00 pm 1:45 am

* Tuesday - 3:00 pm - 1:45 am

* Wednesday - 3:00 pm - 11:45 pm (OT as needed)

* Thursday: 3:00 pm - 9:45 pm (OT as needed)

* Friday: 3:00 pm - 9:45 pm (OT as needed)

**What You Will Do:**

* You will be responsible for processing customer orders for shipment, in alignment with customer specifications and timeframes

* You will also unload trucks, scan using an RF scanner, label assembly, pick and pack orders; load product onto pallets, replenish stock, loading trucks, and assist in quality auditing

* Take pride in ensuring orders are shipped with quality and accuracy

* You will be expected to meet or exceed daily or weekly productivity quotas

* You will be open to learning and working with other cross functional teams to gain new experiences and grow your career

**What You Need to Succeed:**

* A high school diploma or GED is required

* We also need you to be able to speak, read and write English

* You ideally have 1-2 years of previous warehouse experience, in any of the following disciplines: Quality Auditor, Receiving, Replenishment, Shipping Clerk, Assembly, Order Puller and/or outbound Material Stager

* You should feel comfortable operating an RF scanner and possess some basic computer skills

* We prefer you to be proficient in the use of at least two of the following pieces of equipment: Wrapping Machine, Sit-down Forklift, Standup Forklift, Walkie Rider Pallet Truck, ElF Pallet Truck, Reach Truck, Cherry Picker

* You must have the ability to lift 50 pounds with frequent bending, stooping and lifting

* You also must feel comfortable and have the ability to work in a non- climate-controlled environment

* You must always follow proper safety precautions in this fast-paced warehouse environment
