Job Type Full-timeDescriptionJob SummaryThe WAREHOUSE TEAM LEADER works under the direction of the warehouse manager; oversees the pulling and staging of outgoing product; oversees loading of delivery trucks; provides training and direction for teammates; can fill in for all related warehouse positions; misc. duties.Job Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure the correct tires are loaded on the trucks and in the right way, each and every time.

Supervise, direct and work with your teammates.

Train, coach, motivate, appreciate and develop employees/teammates

Track productivity of each teammate and hold them accountable for reaching goals.

Responsible for managing and resolving conflict in the work environment by using the company values as a guide.

Notify/work with the warehouse manager on items that need done or improved.

Work with warehouse manager on staffing needs.

Make sure employees observe all safety rules.

Have a to do list, post so other team members know what needs attention and when it needs done.

Secure building before leaving.

Turn off lights, set alarm, lock doors, etc.

Respond to after hour alarms.

Help out with any other duties needed.

Help out where needed within operations in the event of an absence

RequirementsJob Requirements

Ability to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications.

Must possess a friendly and helpful attitude.

Ability to plan and organize.

Ability to delegate work and train others.

Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds on a continuous basis.

Expectations

Assist in the hiring, training and evaluation of employees.

10 or less miss-ships per month.

Increase/maximize employee productivity.

Enforce safety rules and company policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of supervisory experience or equivalent education or go thru K&M University training program.
