Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join supply chain/manufacturing team near Edwardsville, Illinois. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost/ inventory accounting and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage cost accounting, ensuring accurate product costing and variance analysis.
• Maintain and reconcile inventory records, implementing controls to optimize levels and reduce discrepancies.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Lead or support financial projects to improve efficiency
• Coordinate and support annual audits
• Prepare and manage corporate tax filings, including sales & use, property, and franchise taxes.
• Fixed asset tracking and depreciation schedules.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• 8 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 plus years in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, tax compliance, and inventory management.
• Proficiency in ERP
