ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Within the WPP Unite structure Barrows is seeking a dynamic 3D/Industrial Designer who is passionate about consumer-centered design. You will be instrumental in developing a truly diverse range of creative 3D design solutions, using your range of experience across spatial, experiential, and interior design (visual merchandising and retail design are favorable.) You will be leading projects and ensuring they are delivered to an exceptional standard. Working in a creative, multi-disciplinary environment, you'll be challenged to design commercially viable retail displays, categories, and entire environments that are beautiful and practical. Using strong values and vision you will support and guide junior team members with dedication to excellence. You will liaise with clients, retail specialists, graphic designers, and engineers to create designs from conceptual sketching all the way through to final rendered designs and basic prototype validations. Our retail solutions are created using top-end design packages, incorporating brand identities and with the retail environment in mind. In addition to bringing a killer attitude and energy, this individual must be able to:

• Sit as a core part of the creative team working across multi-faceted design of experiences in retail spaces and with product displays.
• Take a leading role for 3D design to develop fully rationalized 3D designs and visuals based on ideas or creative concepts in projects involving campaigns and experiences from ideation and design, to animation and execution.
• Work closely with cross functional teams
• Using a solid understanding of build, production and the technical aspects of the design process, work closely with production team to make sure timelines and budgets and design visions are honored through to final implementation.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and developments, Such as Advanced renderings, Interactive products, Automation, AR/VR, Task & project managements.
• Review project requirements and propose visual solutions that meet the client's needs.
• Distill creative feedback, and always find ways to build on ideas- maintaining high quality work

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of post-graduate, professional design experience
• Competency in Solid Works for design for manufacture modeling
• Proficiency in 3D Studio Max for design rendering
• 3DS Max preferred, but proficiency in blender, c4d or other similar applications will be considered
• Proficiency in Adobe CS
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Ability to communicate and present
• Design knowledge in a marketing/FMCG environment preferred
• Friendly and dynamic disposition with strong interpersonal capabilities
• Good mechanical/structural aptitude and knowledge of various materials and their associated manufacturing processes
• Ability to work in the office 3 days a week

SALARY & BENEFITS The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $45,000 to $90,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
