We take pride in being a team and a community, together we celebrate the W's, we grow together from the L's, and most importantly, together we all make this a great place to work!ManufacturingJoin our team as a 3DP Parts Finisher.This position is ONSITE based in North Carolina.Shifts available: Saturday - Wednesday; 10 am - 7 pm (Sat - Sun 9 - 6) OR Thursday - Monday; 7 am - 4 pmThe SLS Model Finisher will be responsible for support removal, safe cleaning, and finishing of RP models. They will be responsible for the routine cleaning of the facility.You Will:Clean and finish RP models according to procedures. This is achieved by use of sandpaper, bead blasting equipment and other small tools to prepare RP models according to Customer specificationsEffectively use all checklists associated with the cleaning and finishing of RP modelsMaintain a clean and safe laboratory environment and assist with the restocking of suppliesAssist in the removal and disposal of contaminated materials according to proceduresObserve all Safety and Quality ProceduresPerform additional tasks as assignedYou Have:Rigid attention to detail with the capacity to work with small features and tight tolerancesMust be able to follow instructions and focus on the specific details involved in accurately finishing modelsMust be able to work while standing up to 75% of the timePeriods of high concentration and visual focus when finishing small and intricate modelsNormal duties require the use of safety equipment to include but no limited to; safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators, lab coats and glovesMust be able to read, write and speak English fluentlyHigh school diploma or equivalentPhysical Demands:While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is expected to sit and stand for the entire shift, lift up to 50 pounds waist high, carry up to 50 pounds alone. Essential job duties require reaching, bending, and grasping. Able to read machine-shop gauges and indicators.Work Environment:Indoors (A/C); nonsmoking; the majority of this job function is performed in a manufacturing setting requiring normal safety precautions (eye protection and hearing protection). Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and vibration.
