Candidates must be able to work over 40 hours per week (weekends are required). This job is physical and fast-paced.From your EXPERTISE to oursKey responsibilities for this position include:Meet efficiency budget levels while maintaining a high quality productMust remove and load trays/moldsStage bascular with appropriate cookie sheetsComplete repetition task, ensuring the even spread of curd into appropriate moldPull cheese on to draining room tables from chariotEnsure all whey pipes are properly hooked upTurn cheese in draining roomsRun machines (ex: stacker(s), unmolder, rack washer)Place racks on unmolding conveyorWeigh cheeseComplete paperwork as assigned, accurately and legiblyMaintain open line of communication with all line workers and room supervisorPerform sanitation duties as assignedKeep work area clean and organizedReport production problems and/or concerns to the on-duty supervisorAttend departmental meetings and training as assigned by the supervisor and/or managerApply the safety rules and ensure they are implemented and followedApply the Good Manufacturing Practices StandardPerform other work duties as assignedCandidate must have the following attributes/skills: strong attention to detail and accuracy, personal qualities of tact and dependability, possess good manual dexterity, able to push/pull/lift and carry at least 30 pounds continuously and 50 pounds occasionally, be able to stand for entire shift, and be able to perform repetitive movements (e.g. twisting, gripping, lifting, bending, reaching).RequirementsFrom your STORY to oursQualified applicants will contribute the following:Education:· High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) is preferredExperience:· Previous employment in a food industry setting is preferred· Stable and dependable work history is requiredKnowledge of:· Basic mathematical skills are required (must be able to calculate averages)Skills/Abilities:· Ability to work in a food industry or manufacturing environment· Strong attention to detail and accuracy· Manual dexterity· Vision abilities (close, distance color and ability to focus)· Push/pull/lift and carry at least 30 pounds continuously and 50 pounds occasionally· Stand for entire shift· Perform repetitive movements (e.g. twisting, gripping, lifting, bending, reaching)The ideal candidate will be proactive and dynamic, flexible and receptive to new ideas, down to earth and pragmatic, analytical and attentive to detail. They will also be capable of working independently in adherence to regulations, managing stress and remaining calm under pressure, and demonstrating an inquiring mind and well-developed observational skills.Sign On Bonus & PayWe are offering a $2,000* Hiring Bonus to new hires for hourly positions. *Bonus amount is a gross amount. $1,000 will be paid out in the paycheck following 90 days of active employment; an additional $1,000 will be paid out in the paycheck following 180 days of active employment. Temporary, part-time and certain rehired employees are not eligible. *Attendance and performance rules apply.Pay: $23.15/hour + $2.50/hour shift differential, dependent upon skills and experience.
