We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated 3rd Shift Sanitation Manager to join our team in the Food Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will lead and manage all sanitation activities during the third shift, ensuring that our manufacturing facility meets all sanitation standards and protocols. This role will be instrumental in maintaining the highest level of cleanliness, thereby ensuring the safety and quality of our products. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in sanitation management, looking to take their career to the next level.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sanitation policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Oversee the Master Sanitation Schedule, coordinating and assigning tasks to sanitation staff to ensure all areas of the manufacturing facility are adequately cleaned and sanitized.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of the facility to identify potential sanitation issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
  • Train and mentor sanitation staff, fostering a team environment and ensuring all members understand and adhere to food safety and cleaning procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as production and quality control, to ensure sanitation procedures do not interfere with production schedules and product quality.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sanitation activities, including staff schedules, cleaning logs, inspection results, and corrective actions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in sanitation technology, implementing new strategies as necessary to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sanitation management role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in food production.
  • Proficient knowledge of sanitation standards and regulations, including Master Sanitation Schedule, Food Safety, and Cleaning Procedures.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and rectify sanitation issues promptly and effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Certification in Food Safety or related field is a plus.
  • Physical stamina and ability to work during the night shift.
