We are seeking employees to join our 3rdshift Warehouse team at Tubelite in Reed City! Pay begins at $16.80 an hour, plus a $2.00 an hour for working an off shift!Warehouse Overview:Our Distribution Team members are cross-trained in a variety of roles that include: Order Picker, Truck Loader, Slot Punch Operator, and Material Handler. Our Distribution team works together to pile down, pick, punch, pack, and ship materials to clients and finishers. We ensure that all orders are picked and packed correctly and sent out per schedule.Our Distribution Team members wear required PPE: safety glasses, steel toe shoes, gloves and sleeves, ear plugs, and, where required, hard hats. We work safely to ensure that employees do not incur bodily harm and to keep the distribution area clean.All Distribution Team members perform these job functions to complete the daily schedule. All team members are required to have or obtain a valid Hi-Lo license once employed.Position Requirements:Must be able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours.Must be able to bend easily at the waist.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly throughout the shift.Must be able to read a tape measure accurately.Must be able to read work instructions.Must be able to demonstrate basic math skills.Must have basic computer skills.Must be able to use small hand tools, including hammers, screwdrivers, etc.Must be able to read micrometers and calipers.Preferred experience:One or more years of manufacturing experience.Demonstrated 5S and Lean practice.To learn more about our current openings and Tubelite, please visit .EEO Employer: Apogee and our brands are an equal opportunity employer.
