The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.Status: Full Time RegularShift: DAY SHIFTDepartment: PharmacyPosition SummarySummary:The Oncology Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for conducting clinical Pharmacy services and ensuring that the Pharmacy provides optimal clinical services on a daily basis. The Clinical Pharmacist participates in the development, implementation, and maintenance of systems that promote desirable patient outcomes through the use of safe, cost-effective medication therapies. He/she will promote Pharmacists as integral members of the health-care team in order to allow full utilization of their clinical and medication use control functions that would be beneficial in each health setting.QualificationsResponsibilities:Education Required •Must complete in-house orientation program •Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy. Experience And Skills •Excellent interpersonal skills •Speaks, reads and writes English •Bachelor's Degree with 5 years clinical hospital experience or Pharm D. degree with 2 years clinical hospital experience or a PGY1 Residency. License/Certifications •New York State Pharmacy License. •New York State Pharmacy Registration Certificate. •Current certificate in BLS from the American Heart Association. •Immunization Certification. •Board Certification in a hospital Specialty preferredWorking ConditionsOther information:Working Conditions •Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn •May require admixture of chemotherapeutic agents. •May require prolonged periods of standing. •May require the occasional lifting of heavy boxes.
