Education: Minimumof a High School diploma or equivalent.2. Possesses strong organizational skills and computer skills.3. Food service experience.4. Ability to lift 50 pounds.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: (Include, but are not limited to)PreparationAssists with preparation of breakfast items.Follows menus and recipes.Assists in preparation of lunch items (vegetables, salads, entrees) as directed.Assists Manager with district special functions or promotions.Assists Manager with any food situations that may arise.ServingHelps serve and or operate computer POS during service time.Assists in set up of hot food lines and salad bars, gathering utensils and other items needed for service.CleaningWashes pots, pans, trays and silverware as assigned..Cleans serving counters and steam tables,Cleans equipment as needed.Washes and sanitizes counters and tables with appropriate sanitizer.General kitchen cleaning assignments and duties.OtherReports any equipment needs and repairs to manager.Records daily food usage on proper breakfast and/or lunch production records.Helps out where needed and is flexible.At Will Employment: Employment with the Kearney Public School district is not for any period of time, and employment may be terminated at any time at the convenience of the terminating party, with or without cause, and with or without notice.
