Overtime is available as needed.Job Location:Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE is one of the world's largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology. There are around 600 employees currently working in Columbus, NE. We are one of the largest employers in the Columbus Area.Job Summary: The 6S AOI Production Technician is considered an expert of manufacturing processes and equipment. Responsible for adjusting of equipment, inspection recipes, frequent spot checks, data validation, Gage R&R, daily reports, training operators to yield high quality products in a safe, efficient, and productive manner with a high degree of quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.What you will be doing:
  • Ability to train/coach 6S-AOI operators
  • Suggest recipe improvements based on offline recipe improvement work, to be able to distinguish what recipe parameters can be safely changed and which ones require Process Engineering consensus prior to change.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
  • Utilize PM Change Forms to facilitate Predictive Maintenance.
  • Ability to manage/maintain machine/recipe settings integrity.
  • Clone and update recipes on the fly, manage disk space for storage of inspection results, etc.
What you will bring along:
  • Two-year degree in electronics/mechatronics or related field preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Three - Five years' experience in relatable field
  • Ability to find, locate and read blueprints and schematics as needed, after training.
  • Ability to perform adequate manipulation and display the manual dexterity required to operate all tools required to affect a proper repair action.
  • Ability to perform all bending, twisting, and reaching motions to manipulate a load of at least 30 lbs.
  • Must be capable of using all personal protective equipment required to perform the maintenance tasks required.
  • Must use all standard electrical and machine safety practices recommended by OSHA.
