We are currently seeking an Instructional Coach to work side-by-side with teachers to successfully improve instruction, implement lessons, and accelerate intervention. Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Models and coaches instructional methods in a variety of settings (whole group and small group) and provide follow-up support.
- Provides daily targeted intervention to students struggling with the assigned curriculum.
- Collaborates with and coaches teachers on the use of assessment data to plan instruction; analyze school numeracy data and plan for future curriculum instructional needs.
- Works with administrators and teachers to facilitate lesson studies, lead professional learning communities, and identify targeted professional learning needs.
- Assists school administrators and teachers in implementing, strengthening, supporting, and organizing curriculum instruction and intervention.
- Serve as a content specialist to assist in the development and implementation of campus instructional plans that align with district goals and curriculum.
Pay Transparency: The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000. Base pay offered may vary within the posted range based on several factors, including but not limited to education, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. RequirementsEducation/Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field required/Master's degree preferred
- Valid NYS teaching certification required
Experience:
- At least five years of successful teaching experience
- Experience in development, preparation, and presentation of professional development preferred
