Position Type: Middle School Teaching/Teacher - Middle School Level Date Posted: 3/5/2025 Location: Biddeford Middle School Biddeford Schools are seeking: 7th Grade Science Middle School Teacher Specific Job Details: Starting: 2025-2026 School Year School Description: The Middles School is grades 5-7. We expect staff and students to embrace our three key pillars of learning: discovery, educating the whole child, and supporting them with a positive culture and climate. Find the Biddeford School Department's Three Pillars of Commitment to Students attached.Brief Job Duties: The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:
  • Developing and administering school elementary curriculum
  • Conducting ongoing assessments of student learning and modifying instructional methods to fit individual student needs, including students with special needs
  • Encouraging parental involvement in students' education.
  • Full Job Description Certification/License: Certification in Elementary Education (020) from the Maine Department of Education Criminal History Record Check (CHRC), which includes Fingerprints on file with the Maine Department of Education Education: Bachelors from an accredited college or university in education or related discipline applicable to teaching assignment. Masters Degree in related area preferred. Experience: Successful prior teaching experience for the appropriate grade levels is preferred but not required.
