22 February 2016 **DVIP and Hampton Trust are delighted to have been appointed by the Drive Partnership as service provider for their innovative approach to holding those perpetrating domestic abuse in West Sussex to account.**

Our Drive Project is one of three pilot sites across the UK including South Wales and Essex. Service provision will incorporate the areas of Worthing and Crawley working in close partnership with existing services/agencies in the area.

The Drive Project is a community-based intervention for perpetrators (service users) of domestic abuse whose victims are assessed as at a high risk of significant harm or fatality, aged 16 years and over. The service will offer a risk and needs led response that proactively works with this potentially involuntary client group in a multimodal way; striving for behavioural and attitudinal change. The service, delivered in the context of multi-agency response, will develop a tailored intervention plan that meets needs, addresses offending and motivates active engagement in activities that will produce sustained behavioural change; whilst minimising risk to victims and keeping their safety paramount. DVIP and Hampton Trust are looking to complete the appointment of a multi-skilled team by recruiting to the following posts:-

**2 x Drive Case Worker**

* **29,558 (p.a. + 3% contribution to an auto enrolled pension)** ****3 Year fixed term (initially)****

* **Both posts 37.5 hpw (Flexibility required as evening and occasional weekend work is essential)**

* **Part time and Job share applications considered. We also welcome applications for secondments from applicants who have secured agreement for this from their employers.**

The successful applicant(s) will have demonstrable experience of working with perpetrators of domestic violence and abuse (DVA) or other similar involuntary client groups. Applicants must have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the dynamics and complexities of DVA and its effects on individuals, families and communities.

A current valid driving licence and the ability to provide a suitable vehicle for work are essential.

All posts will be subject to suitable employment screening checks which includes eligibility to work in the UK, Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and a minimum of two previous employment references. Posts may also be subject to key partner agency screening processes.
