AKABA welcomes passionate professionals dedicated to helping children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder!Are you in search of a flexible part-time position?Do you want to help those with special needs reach key developmental milestones?Would you like to learn more about Applied Behavior Analysis and how to use it to teach important skills?Then, you should apply to join the AKABA team as an ABA Therapist!Under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts, this role provides 1-to-1 Applied Behavioral Analysis services to children diagnosed with Autism (ASD) in their homes, community programs, and at the AKABA Center. Job Type: Part-timePay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour (to start) with $1-$3 increases in the first 3-6 months.

AKABA uses an individualized, scientifically-validated, behavioral approach to helping individuals develop and build on their personal, academic, and social skills.Qualifications for the ABA Tech include:
  • Friendly and energetic, enjoy working with individuals diagnosed with disabilities
  • Has reliable transportation- meaning your own/family vehicle that is currently registered and available to you throughout the sessions as some clients require transport for certain services.
  • Experience working with children diagnosed with developmental disabilities ( preferably Autism)
  • Ability to attend an initial orientation
  • Ability to work a minimum of 10-15 hours per week ( after school hours between 3pm-8 p.m.)
  • Must be timely and organized
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively within a variety of situations
Responsibilities: The ABA Tech will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and will be directly responsible for:
  • Electronic Data collection
  • Implementing individualized behavior support plans
  • Implementing skill acquisition programs
  • Working with families for effective collaboration on client
  • Submitting all required paperwork in a timely manner
  • Attending monthly case review meetings with their direct supervisor
Required education for an ABA Tech:
  • High school or equivalent
Required license or certification:
  • Drivers License
Job Location: Metro Worcester AreaRequired experience for an ABA Tech:
