Be part of an innovative and fun-loving team working on various architectural project types of all scales.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Exhibits basic understanding of state building, local city, and zoning codes.
  • Participates in conceptual design and provides full support throughout the entire project.
  • Serves as subject-matter expert on specialized building systems.
  • Develops and represents lead technical viewpoint on projects.
  • Coordinates with project team leaders for appropriate technical solutions and product strategies.
  • Can be relied upon to present directly to the client on technical and design solutions.
  • Coordinates with project director to directly supervise the teams' design and technical delivery.
  • Adept at BIM and other software used in the production of construction documentation.
  • Works directly with technical/project director, design principal/senior designers, and project team to execute project plans.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and meet and maintain all performance goals as required.   • A bachelor's and/or master's degree in architecture or equivalent is required.
  • The ideal candidate must be a licensed architect.
  • Must have ten (10) or more years of experience or equivalent in an architectural office.
  • Additional industry certifications preferred (i.e., LEED, DBIA, CDT, etc.).
  • Must have a can-do attitude, be a team player, and exhibit excellent communication skills with clients and staff.
  • Must be a fast learner and highly motivated.
  • Able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Must be familiar with architectural phases.
  • Low to high-rise 3-4 star single and dual brand Hospitality experience.
  • Familiar with building materials, code, and construction methods, and brands.
  • Must exhibit strong Revit modeling skills.
  • Must submit a portfolio, along with a resume, to be considered for the position.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSWe offer career advancement opportunities and an excellent compensation and benefits package that includes group medical, dental, vision, AD&D, and life insurance coverage, 401(k) plan, paid monthly parking, one-week year-end holiday shut-down, and an alternative work schedule of 40 hours/week based on a 4 --day workweek, Monday - Thursday and half day on Friday working a hybrid schedule.
