- Carry out all responsibilities associated with tutoring assigned student(s) to engage, inspire, and challenge students consistent with Lovett's mission, values, and whole-child education model, including:
- Be professional, reliable, and offer encouragement and positive feedback to students and parents.
- Prepare lessons for each session ahead of time using MyLion.
- Summarize the daily work completed by each student using a Google Doc, noting content and strategies.
- Be responsible with available computer use.
- Complete billing biweekly using Google Docs, Google Spreadsheets, and Ultipro
- Prepare regular monthly comments for teachers and parents.
- Report to the session on time so that session charges reflect actual time spent with the student.
- Check email regularly to keep up with changes within the divisions.
Position Requirements:
- A degree in education is preferred
- Present or past classroom teaching experience
- Passion for working with children
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Expert knowledge of Google Docs, Sheets
- Strong organizational skills
