Job Title: Account and Business Development Manager (Full-Time) – NYC Office

Reporting Into: Client Director

About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and well-connected account and business development manager to lead client relationships, generate new business opportunities, and ensure successful project execution. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of brands, trends, and influencer marketing, with an established network in the industry. They will also be knowledgeable about how packaging design works, from concept to execution, and will play a key role in identifying new growth opportunities.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within target industries, including fashion, luxury, lifestyle, beauty, and tech.
• Leverage existing networks and connections to generate leads and cultivate strong client relationships.
• Develop strategic partnerships with brands and agencies to expand the company's client base.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring satisfaction and maintaining long-term partnerships.
• Oversee the planning and execution of projects, from initial briefing through delivery, while ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Provide clients with strategic guidance and creative solutions tailored to their brand and marketing objectives.

• Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure packaging concepts meet brand standards and project goals.
• Understand the technical aspects of creative custom merch, product, and packaging, including materials, design feasibility, and production processes, to guide project development.

• Work closely with internal teams, including creative and production, to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members where necessary.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, design, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business development, account management, or a related role within the branding, marketing, or event production industries.
• Existing network of industry contacts, including brands, agencies, and influencers.
• Strong understanding of brand strategy, experiential marketing, and influencer collaborations.
• Knowledge of packaging design processes, materials, and production techniques.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities and solving problems.
