About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Account Director with a strong background in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector, particularly within the Beauty space. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in account management, business development and retail/wholesale distribution As the Account Director you will be responsible for driving topline growth and profitable margin through strategic management of the key established retail accounts & develop new openings . This role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of the CPG landscape, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a results-oriented mindset. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that retailers & our brands needs market share goals. Role & Responsibilities:
  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key retailers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Strategic Planning: Create and implement account plans that align with overall business objectives and drive profitable revenue growth.
  • Sales Leadership: Lead sales initiatives, identifying new business opportunities and expanding market presence within existing accounts.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and identify areas for growth.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product/POS development, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of initiatives. Includes 3rd party vendor management
  • Performance Metrics & P&L understanding: Monitor/track account performance and sales metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
  • Negotiation: Lead line review & other negotiations including pricing/placement strategies.
  • Team Development: Mentor and support junior sales staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
