Our client is a leading cannabis producer in IL with a large portfolio of products for every type of consumer. Currently in 4 states and headquartered in IL, this group is pushing the boundaries on innovation and the retail experience.
The Account Executive will be responsible for thesale of all retail and wholesale products to third-party vendors and dispensaries. They will be responsible for finding and engaging with new customers through a combination of referrals, networking, and cold-calling, as well as maintaining existing customers through office visits, meetings, check-up calls, and follow-up emails.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Handle both customers and co-workers in a professional manner at all times
Develop new client and market connections through referrals, networking, and cold calling
Suggest applicable and relevant upsells
Meet monthly and quarterly sales quotas
Troubleshoot issues with customers regarding our products and services
Prepare and submit sales reports as needed
Assist other team members with any transactions as necessary and work with other departments as needed
Perform follow-up communication with existing customers
Perform cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers
Maintain positive business relationships to ensure future sales
Analyze territory and market potentials
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree in Business, Sales or a related field
Prior experience as a sales representative or similar field necessary, at least three years preferred
Proficient in Excel
Excellent sales, communication and organization skills
Ability to create and deliver a variety of presentations to customers and sales team
Ability to work independently
Willingness to work outside normal business hours as needed
