Description

American Elevator Group (AEG) company is a collection of well-established elevator service companies operating across the United States. Backed by Arcline Investment Management, AEG has a significant footprint in the elevator industry and is rapidly growing. We are looking to add a talented sales individual to Unitec Elevator, one of NYC's premier elevator maintenance providers.

In this role you will be the point of contact for prospects and/or clients and have a range of responsibilities including identifying and educating current and future customers on products and services through calls, trainings, and presentations, while providing existing customers with exceptional support, information and assistance. With a high focus in the Greater New Jersey market, his position incorporates both inside and outside duties including visiting customer sites and taking orders via phone and email. You will create and execute a successful 'go-to-market' strategy to ensure a growing service customer base, selling value and differentiating products and services on all new contracts.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree and 7+ years experience in construction or industrial equipment service sales (elevator service highly preferred). Previous commercial and/or residential elevator installation or servicing experience a strong plus. The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal/communication/presentations skills and the ability to build strong customer relationships at all levels and a willingness to prospect and identify new business opportunities. You should also have the ability to understand the client's business, identify solutions & communicate value by proposing and persuading to buy and assist with project management. Ability to travel and visit various customers in New Jersey required.
