Founded by two industry veterans with over 15 years of experience and successful exits, Alfred is already available in 7,000+ hotel rooms in New York City, including hotels from global brands like Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt.

We are on the lookout for a passionate and results-oriented Account Executive to join our team as the first dedicated sales hire. In this pivotal role, you'll drive growth, expand Alfred's footprint in new and existing markets, and directly contribute to shaping the future of hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Launch New Markets: Spearhead Alfred's expansion in new and existing cities by building local operations and developing a strong network of clients. Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Prospect and Generate Leads: Identify and engage hotels and property managers that can benefit from Alfred's virtual hospitality platform
  • Conduct Sales Pitches: Present Alfred's platform to prospective clients, showcasing how it solves pain points and improves their bottom line.
  • Build Relationships: Establish trust with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the hospitality industry.
  • Close Deals: Drive the full sales cycle—from lead generation to contract signing—consistently meeting or exceeding quotas.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with the marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure client satisfaction and support.
  • Stay Informed: Keep up with hospitality industry trends, competitive products, and evolving client needs.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in SaaS, hospitality, or technology industries.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop and manage a pipeline using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to expand markets and meet clients face-to-face.
  • A passion for technology and an understanding of the hospitality landscape.
  • Proven ability to hit or exceed sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and adaptable to a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Compensation Range

$70,000 - $90,000 + performance-based bonus
