Role Description
Freight brokers put an incredible amount of trust in Highway and that trust will be extended to you. The Account Executive is responsible for bringing in new business for Highway through lead generation and pipeline management. This Account Executive will be hiring in tune with the transportation industry and understand how to sell complex solutions to freight brokers.
Your role:
- Business development for Highway's market leading freight tech platform.
- Prospect and develop lead generation for a healthy pipeline with a focus on converting leads.
- Manage the needs for freight brokers, understanding their pain points and succinctly convey the value of Highway's technology and service.
- Focus on weekly pipeline generation in assigned target accounts
- Meet minimum conversion rate expectations
- Sell multiple products- maximize value for the customer.
- Focus on trust and transparency in building business relationships and sales pipeline, translating what our product does and the value we deliver.
- High focus on new business development, finding new opportunities and a deep desire to serve customers and win.
- Manage a monthly quota, building a scalable pipeline for delivery month in month out.
Qualifications
- Experience with software sales, lead generation, account management, and sales to freight brokers in North America.
- Highly skilled at negotiation, contract creation, negotiating business outcomes favorable to Highway while solving customer's needs.
- Ability to conduct consultative selling and build long-term client relationships with a proven track record of new business generation.
- Experience in the logistics industry and knowledge of logistics software systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and hit sales targets.
- Bachelorʼs degree in Business Administration, Marketing highly preferred
- This position is located in Chattanooga, TN, with a hybrid in office/remote schedule.
