Job Overview: The Account Executive is a vital role within our client's organization, focused on driving revenue growth and expanding the customer base. This position is responsible for developing and executing account plans for existing customers, as well as generating new businessopportunities. The Account Executive will play a key role in the company's success by ensuring customer satisfaction, leading renewal activities, and mentoring junior sales team members. This role requires a strong understanding of the EHS software space and the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement account plans for existing customers to drive growth and upsell opportunities.
- Generate new business by identifying and pursuing net new revenue opportunities.
- Coordinate customer-focused activities, including upselling new solutions, integrations, and providing customer support.
- Lead renewal activities, ensuring uplift, annual increases, and completion of renewals before expiration dates.
- Facilitate and coordinate team meetings to support sales activities, involving additional resources as needed.
- Develop cost estimates and statements of work using company templates.
- Deliver clear and compelling presentations to large audiences, both virtually and in person.
- Conduct post-mortem analysis of closed win opportunities to identify key success factors.
- Stay updated on company roadmaps, new product features, and industry trends in the EHS software space.
- Maintain knowledge of competitive analysis and market differentiation.
- Mentor business development team members to build the company's sales talent pipeline.
- Keep pipelines and customer interactions documented in Salesforce.
Requirements:Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Enterprise Sales, with a focus on new logos and existing customer growth.
- Proven experience with MEDDPICC Sales Qualifying Techniques or comparable sales methodologies.
- Prior experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety Consulting or Software Sales is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Strong drive and hunter mentality for generating new revenue.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and sales practices related to the Value Framework.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively.
Certifications:
- Relevant certifications in sales methodologies or EHS software are a plus.
Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of the EHS software space and industry trends.
