The Department CAA Brand Consulting is a strategy-led, full-service marketing agency with expertise in Cultural and Consumer Insights, Data and Analytics, Talent/Influencer and Property Partnership Advisory, Experiential, Social Impact, Creative Services, and Content and Digital Strategy. The Role The CAA Brand Consulting Account Executive will play a key role in one of our largest Brand Consulting clients, a financial services company. The Account Executive will support the day-to-day management and activation of marquee sports and entertainment properties in the brand's portfolio. The candidate will interface day-to-day with the client and will work cross-functionally with internal/external vendors, clients, and agencies. Additionally, the Account Executive will work in lock-step with our internal team and client counterpart to support in concepting, managing, and executing a series of high-end hospitality events for client customers. The role includes research and brainstorming on culinary, sports, entertainment, arts, culture,e and destination money cant buy event concepts that will be compelling to the client and event attendees. Responsibilities Entertainment Partnerships Serve as day-to-day account team support while establishing strong professional relationships with key personnel across assigned accounts and properties Work with cross-functional teams and external partners on all aspects of project management to ensure client expectations are met Support overall planning of campaigns, events, and activations, working with the internal account team, client team, and external agencies Maintain project trackers including timelines, ensuring team deliverables are submitted on schedule Aid in the development & manage day-to-day execution of property-specific programs, contractual assets, promotions & experiential activations Assist in the execution of on-the-ground experiential activations around partnerships Aid in the development of integrated marketing and sponsorship activation plans, showcasing how digital, social, PR, retail and other channels come to life Oversee & facilitate the creative development process of marketing materials, experiential assets, and event-related creative (includes briefing designers & obtaining internal & client approvals) Work with other team functions (e.g. Creative, Experiential, Social Impact, Insights/trends, etc.) to ensure goals and objectives are met Develop and deliver compelling written and verbal communications Create presentations for key meetings internally and externally Track activation budgets with accountability for reporting Develop relationships across CAA to find and promote new opportunities to the client Customer Events Create presentations to sell in event concepts to the client Estimate accurate budgets for event concepts, process invoices and reconcile budgets for each event Develop & manage detailed timelines, run of shows, inventory lists, and contact lists for each event Liaise with various vendors and partners for event services (i.e. content capture, A/V, transportation, catering, gifting, etc.) Assist with sourcing, packing, and mailing customer gifts Prepare marketing and communication materials for event promotion Work with agency creative team to concept and produce creative materials for events (i.e. signage, collateral, social media graphics, etc.) Negotiate talent deals on behalf of the client, including preparing deal memos, reviewing contracts, and working with the clients legal team through contract execution Travel to event locations for location scouting and event execution (events occur Nationwide, with 7 key markets) Concept and draft social media communications and graphics to promote individual events and the overall program Regularly research and proactively identify potential future event concepts based on pop culture and industry knowledge Build relationships with outside agency partners to keep a pulse on upcoming talent opportunities that may be relevant to the program Simultaneously plan, manage, and execute multiple events at different life stages at the same time Requirements BA or BS strongly preferred Typically 1-2 years of relevant experience Ability to travel and be on-site at events Ability to learn client industry and CAA SOW responsibilities Knowledge of basic CAA Brand Consulting account management tasks (i.e. BC templates, etc.) Industry knowledge Proficiency in MS Office Detail oriented Curious and Creative Ability to balance and progress multiple projects and project components at one time, on tight timelines Location The Brand Consulting department offers a flexible work schedule and requires three days per week on-site at our New York office. Compensation The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $65,000 - $75,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and a discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in the role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
