Summary Job Summary Establishes face-to-face communication with representatives of employers throughout the Owensboro Health Regional marketing area by conducting routine marketing visits to secure service line contracts for employer services. Performs analysis of assigned operations, functions, and/or information to provide management with decision support. Job Responsibilities
  • Establishes new and maintains existing relationships between employers and Owensboro Health.
  • Identifies and manages opportunities to expand services offered to area employers.
  • Develops business opportunities through data mining and research, prepares proposals and makes presentations to employers.
  • Assures that proper channels of communication between businesses and the Workhealth Program, Healthpark and Employer Services are effectively maintained and utilized.
  • Provides follow-up reports regarding utilization and revenue changes.
  • Generates specialty reports as requested.
  • Prioritizes duties to maximize efficiencies.
  • Performs special projects and duties as assigned, including but not limited to necessary research, forecasting and conflict resolution.
  • Assists and coordinates activities with all team members including providing assistance with employer screening events.
  • Tracks and documents employer calls using computer software.
  • Performs data entry such as company information, Department of Transportation (DOT) registration and Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSHA) reports.
  • Exhibits knowledge of the different service lines, time involved in services and costs associated with all service lines.
  • Flexibility and ability to travel within Owensboro Health Regional marketing area.
  • Assures that all required registration staff have EPIC training and serves as a SuperUser EPIC Trainer.
  • Provides knowledge and assistance in the Laboratory Billing system in coordination with the Revenue Billing Systems.
  • Processes manual charges for laboratory testing and builds required tests in appropriate systems.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration required upon hire OR
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in science related field required upon hire OR
  • Associate's degree or higher in Medical Lab Technology required upon hire OR
  • Associate's degree or higher in business related field required upon hire
  • A combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • A minimum of 2 years' relevant experience required
  • Driver - Valid driver's license and 21 years of age required upon hire
