POSITION HIGHLIGHTS This role will lead a team of Account managers while supporting our largest producer and account focused on Real Estate Development. * Full-time, benefits-eligible, fully remote role * 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM CST * Compensation is a combination of base salary + incentive * Prefer experience with servicing in marketing, certifications, and understanding of contracts

SUMMARY

Primary client servicing advocate for assigned accounts with additional responsibilities to develop new clients and support Unit Manager in executing performance development plans of departmental staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Manages overall client relationship to maintain high account retention rate;

* Solicits new accounts to conduct direct selling and cold calling;

* Responsible for renewal process on existing business;

* Evaluates assigned client coverage portfolio to implement cross selling opportunities and solicitation of additional lines of coverage;

* Services accounts and provides claims assistance as needed;

* Analyzes exposure base to identify program deficiencies and develop proper marketing strategies;

* Completes applications, obtains quotes, negotiates premiums, develops coverage comparisons, and prepares proposals and presentations;

* Binds coverage, prepares binders and delegates certificates;

* Reviews coverage and determines appropriate level of coverage;

* Meets with clients as needed or directed by producer;

* Reviews accounting history, responds to accounting inquiries, corrects discrepancies and contacts client on receivable collections;

* Serves as technical expert, assisting department members to resolve complex issues;

* Provides mentoring and coaching to departmental staff in concert with Unit Manager;

* Creates motivational action plans for personnel development in conjunction with defined performance goals created by Unit Manager;

* Supplements Unit Managers oversight in compliance with Corporate procedural guidelines;

* Collection of fees, reconciliation and resolution of any outstanding balances within 90 days of invoicing date;

* Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information);

* Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Ten (10) or more years related work experience

Valid insurance license

Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal

SKILLS

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Good problem solving and time management skills

Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork

Good planning, organizational and prioritization skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
