A successful candidate will bring strong business development skills, outbound sales prospecting skills, and channel development skills to help uncover new customer leads while maintaining and growing existing accounts. Responsibilities
- Identifying sales opportunities for the sales team to help grow a new business area and foster new business partnerships.
- Work with existing channel partners to generate new leads.
- Participate in company sales campaigns.
- Manage the opportunities in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.
- Qualify leads, as well as research into prospective companies.
- Drive pipeline growth by scheduling leads with account executives.
- Participate in weekly forecast meetings and provide account feedback.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of sales experience selling Logistics, Transportation or Customs.
- Proven track record of exceeding quotas and hitting targets.
- A demonstrated hunter mentality and ability to win new business.
- Remote (Toronto/GTA area).
- Technology background is an asset.
